Rebel Talk: What's On Your Runway?
Let’s not pretend you don’t know.
There’s something sitting there—right in front of you.
A goal. A calling. An idea that won’t leave you alone.
You’ve been taxiing around it for months… maybe years.
Thinking about it.
Planning for it.
Convincing yourself that “soon” is good enough.
But here's the truth:
“Soon” is a lie.
“Perfect timing” is a myth.
And every runway shortens with time.
We’ve covered this before. I’ve told you about my path to getting in the air. But this isn’t about me anymore.
This is about you—and the excuses you might have dressed up as strategy. I've been there.
You want the truth?
The runway doesn’t care about your excuses.
It doesn’t care if you’re tired.
It doesn’t care if you’re scared.
It doesn’t care if you’ve failed before.
All it cares about is one thing:
Will you move, or won’t you?
Maybe you're waiting for:
-
More money
-
More support
-
More time
-
More “signs”
-
More confidence
I waited for all of these things before starting Relentless Rebel, and before getting my pilot's license.
Here’s the problem I found with that:
You don’t build confidence standing still.
You build it by rolling.
You don’t build clarity waiting for answers.
You build it through movement, action, and momentum.
And most people?
They never leave the ground because they’d rather be comfortably stuck than uncomfortably growing.
This isn’t Hallmark inspiration—this is Relentless Rebel truth.
You know what’s on your runway.
And deep down, you know what it’s going to take to get off the ground.
So stop circling.
Stop checking the weather.
Stop waiting for someone to come whisper, “Now’s the time.”
You are the clearance.
You are the tower.
You are the damn plane.
The world is full of grounded dreams.
Dreams that never took off because someone played it safe.
Because someone told themselves “next year.”
Because someone got really, really good at waiting.
But not you.
Not anymore.
You are a Relentless Rebel. You don't wait.
What’s on your runway?
And what are you going to do about it? More importantly, WHEN are you going to do something about it?
Because we (Relentless Rebels) don’t coast.
We don’t stall out.
We roll until we rise.
Do you need help talking about it? Inspiration to get off the ground an go? Send me your struggles, talk to me about your excuses (we all have them, myself included). Not feeling supported by your spouse, friends, or family? Tell me. You'll find nothing but support from us, and from the entire Relentless Rebel Family.
Fire it up.
Throttle forward.
No more holding back.
Wheels up, Rebel.
Stay Relentless,
Ryan
