Rebel Talk: We Are Not Alone.

Rebel Talk: We Are Not Alone.

We’re never fully walking alone in this life. Every choice, every move, and even every word can send ripples way further than we realize. In life, others constantly influence us, but here's the thing—you’re doing the same to them, often without knowing. The real question is, how aware are you of the impact you're making?

The Weight of Who You Let In

Ever hear, "You’re the sum of the five people you spend most of your time with"? Pause and really chew on that. The ones close to you are shaping your thoughts, bending your actions, and crafting your mindset. Whether you're aware of it or not, this molding can push you to rise—or weigh you down.

In my own life, I’ve seen it firsthand. At times, I’ve had to reevaluate the people I allowed in my space. Some folks, no matter how tight you are with them, can dull your shine. Others though, will ignite the fire within you, helping you go for dreams you didn’t even know were in reach. Choosing wisely who surrounds you isn’t just important—it can shift your entire life.  I've known people for 5 minutes that I can tell want me to succeed more than someone I've known for years.  Seems crazy, but it's true.

Eyes on You, Even When You Don’t See It

Every day, like it or not, you’re a walking example. Maybe you’re a parent, friend, sibling, or leader. Or maybe, you think you’re just hustling through the day, but someone’s noticing. They’re watching how you handle stress, how you treat others, how you chase your dreams. You might not even realize it, but someone is paying attention.

Maybe it’s your kid, seeing how you juggle work and family. Maybe a coworker’s pumped up by how you give your all at work. Maybe it’s a friend, observing how you fight through tough times with GRIT. It could even be a total stranger, quietly noticing your persistence from a distance. What you do matters, even if it doesn’t feel that way right now.

Be Intentional in How You Show Up

So, knowing all this, and even when it feels like you're in a shitty place, make sure you remember you're being watched. You are that influence to others. Perfection’s not the goal here—but showing up as the best version of yourself is a gift, not just to you, but to everyone watching. Your hustle, your grind, your determination—it sends out a message. It says success isn’t about just skill, but about never quitting. I'm been through some shit in my life, but that isn't my story. I press on, I preserver. If you're just getting to know RR, learn more about us here. Your hustle, your grind, your determination all tell the world that roadblocks are just pit stops before a bigger win. It shows that when you mix passion with purpose, you can break through even the toughest moments.

This is why I believe in going all out, no matter what I’m doing. Whether I’m working on new designs for Relentless Rebel, pushing limits learning new things I know nothing about, or soaking up time with my kids, I aim to give my best. It’s not just about me—it’s about how my actions ripple through the lives of those around me.

When you live with this mindset—when mediocrity isn’t an option—you become the example of what’s possible. You become the influence someone else needs. And who knows? You might just help them find the courage to chase their own dreams. Perhaps an introduction to Relentless Rebel would help too :).

The Legacy You Leave

In the end, the people who influenced us and the people we influenced—that’s part of the legacy we leave behind. Influence isn’t about fancy titles or positions. It’s about living real, chasing greatness, and never settling for less. It’s realizing that your journey can spark change in someone else’s life and that by living fully, you empower others to do the same.

So think about it—who has influenced you? How did they push you to grow? And now, flip it—what kind of influence are you going to be today?

Keep going. Keep striving. Someone’s watching—and you’re showing them what’s possible.

Stay Relentless,

Ryan
