The Idea
Relentless Rebel™ Apparel was a vision of mine for years in the making. When I was a kid, I knew early on that I was "Built Different" than the other kids around me. I didn't think like them. I was always thinking of who I would develop into and what I was going to do when I "grew up". I knew it wasn't going to be a 9 to 5, and I knew because of that the road wasn't going to be an easy one. I thrived on that thought. My first entrepreneurial endeavor began early in my college career. My friends were out chasing chicks, pouring beer bongs, and working anywhere they could get a job to earn a few bucks to buy beer. Me, I was starting my first business. Working the same shitty jobs to earn the same few bucks. But those bucks went into my business. That business failed. As did my next 10. When I graduated college, I "got a job", working for “the man”. It sucked. And I was making good money too. More than any of my college friends. I bought my first house years before any of my friends or those in my circle. But this wasn't for me. Fast forward 10 years and I was married with 2 young kids. The 2 greatest joys in my life. Still working for “the man”.
THE SIGN
Looking into the eyes of these two greatest gifts, I realized I couldn't keep going down a path I didn't believe in. I wasn't following my heart, my passion. I was just going through the motions. No more. If I was going to lead by example, I had to lead by example.
I took the risk, to not lose the chance. A business was born. This sign hangs in my office. It's a daily reminder to never give up. To “Just Don't Quit”. To chase my dreams and follow my heart, and lead by example. So, one day, when I tell my children to chase their dreams, they'll listen to me, because I chased mine.

We know it's not easy. Hell, I've been through a divorce, a faltering business, and multiple lawsuits all at the same time. I remember thinking "Am I going to make it?" Am I going to come out on the other side? Am I going to be able to provide for my children? The struggle was real.

While building this business, and growing it over the years, I’d write down phrases that came to me and post them on my wall. Motivational, inspiring, to the point, sayings that would keep me going.
